Web Hopper @AEC
where - they are - going

An extended version of WebHopper developed for Ars Electronica Center in Linz, Austria, WebHopper@AEC shows the Web surfing trails of AEC visitors from the eight PC terminals on the Knowledge Net Floor (sensorium's exhibition space from September 8 to13). Lines are drawn in eight colors, one for each respective terminal.
Thinner lines indicate access to AEC's server (http://www.aec.at) from around the world.
The image and sound from these monitors will be projected large-scale in the gallery space.

Note: due to a large degree of packet loss between Austria and Japan at present, imagery may not appear when accessed from Japan. Macintosh users should increase application memory (above 24M reccomended).
